Some love birds jumping on the wedding bandwagon

I guess the feeling of love is in the air today and after the gorgeous wedding of William and Kate its rather understandable. The dress, the flowers the atmosphere was stunning. But this whole talk and air of wedding and love makes me want to rush forward and sort out my own wedding.

When me and Joe was on holiday we spent a night stamping out our wedding invites. We'd had the love bird stamp we brought off etsy personalised with our initials R and J put in the love heart between the love birds. Its only about 2.5cm square in size but its so adorable and cute that is just perfect. On the back is a stamped version of an old postcard. Everyone came out a little bit different, the ink perhaps darker or lighter in some. But that is what makes it perfect. Having that rustic edge.

Now just can't wait for having a date to write upon them and send them all out!

Road trip numero one

One of the things i'm looking forward to is mine and guy's road trip. It's all in the air as to when it will occur but we know it will. Just a case of being good and waiting for my visa. Then we get to undertake road trip numero one. The honeymoon road trip.

Currently standing (or driving as the case may be in reality) at 1,542 miles (straight forgetting day trips, detours and getting lost) it covers five states [name them ... Pennsylvania, Michigan, Virginia, West Virginia and Ohio] its taking up [as it stands] 12 days hopefully in the autumn of this year.

When you can't do anything about speeding up or knowing what really is occurring with your visa, having something positive to focus on past that point is helping my head immensely. Its something we can work out together, there's a haven of information on the internet if you know where to look, plus two huge doorstops of travel guides there's no real excuse. Plus trip advisor is your best friend, as if sending off for countless numbers of FREE brochures and guides from USA states. All sent direct to Jj's door and creating a mountain of things for me to look through and devour.

The plan is to hit something of a lot of our interests, from history [covered bridges, forts, Williamsburg], zoo's [and of course their pengys], shops, biking, woods, walking and relaxing [sleeeeping]. I get more excited and hands on about our honeymoon then the wedding but we know perfectly we just want a tiny wedding, we're spoiling ourselves totally on the honeymoon after. That's definitely more us.

LIFE: Apple Blossom

One of the prettiest things about spring is apple blossom, even when it falls off in the wind it falls like confetti.
