Road trip numero one

One of the things i'm looking forward to is mine and guy's road trip. It's all in the air as to when it will occur but we know it will. Just a case of being good and waiting for my visa. Then we get to undertake road trip numero one. The honeymoon road trip.

Currently standing (or driving as the case may be in reality) at 1,542 miles (straight forgetting day trips, detours and getting lost) it covers five states [name them ... Pennsylvania, Michigan, Virginia, West Virginia and Ohio] its taking up [as it stands] 12 days hopefully in the autumn of this year.

When you can't do anything about speeding up or knowing what really is occurring with your visa, having something positive to focus on past that point is helping my head immensely. Its something we can work out together, there's a haven of information on the internet if you know where to look, plus two huge doorstops of travel guides there's no real excuse. Plus trip advisor is your best friend, as if sending off for countless numbers of FREE brochures and guides from USA states. All sent direct to Jj's door and creating a mountain of things for me to look through and devour.

The plan is to hit something of a lot of our interests, from history [covered bridges, forts, Williamsburg], zoo's [and of course their pengys], shops, biking, woods, walking and relaxing [sleeeeping]. I get more excited and hands on about our honeymoon then the wedding but we know perfectly we just want a tiny wedding, we're spoiling ourselves totally on the honeymoon after. That's definitely more us.

  2. Looks like quite a drive. I don't know this part of the country well so it looks like the sort of trip that I may have to take one day.
