Thanksgiving hits and here in metro Detroit the weathers on a winter turn. Last week mornings were met waking up to thick fog and yesterday [Sunday] the first sprinkling of snow upon the grass - it's been trying on and off since Friday with light snow flurries and finally it was cold enough to lay. I guess this is why I love Christmas decorations which we put up at the end of last week - they warm up the home when it's so cold and dark outside. These photos are just a glimpse around our city on cold mornings outside our apartment window or on wanders to the library.
If you're in the UK - I hope your keeping dry!
Pretty much the same here in Yorkshire!
ReplyDeleteI am loving these photos, Rachael! I'm sure it's so cold but it looks like just my kind of weather. :)
ReplyDeleteI do love this time of year though, I'm a strange sort. x
ReplyDeleteVery festive pictures! Nope I have been getting soaked through here in the UK :(xx
ReplyDeleteLucky for me ive been indoors all day working but around where i live is like an island at the moment! The UK is going underwater at this rate :(
ReplyDeleteSummer has just begun here and I am so excited - I love hot, balmy weather! Though I think dressing in winter is much more fun. I think that christmas would make so much more sense in winter its kind of a little weird having a pine tree and candles up in the middle of summer here :p
ReplyDeleteI love the feel of Christmas being on its way. It's very wet here, and awfully chilly- no snow yet but I'm sure we might get some. I sure do hope so anyway, I love winter time the most xxx
