LIFE: May Your Stockings Be Full Of All Things Dear

It's time to wish you all a very Merry Christmas as I take a step back from the blog and try to get into the festive spirit myself.

Working in retail and now, as an expat, they both in different ways have a killed a part of the Christmas spirit for me, perhaps that and just growing older. Both make me more aware of what the true Christmas meaning, in turn how this season should be more about love, giving, donating rather than the Christmas wishlists and haul posts that seem to dominate blogging at this time.

I wish you all the best for the coming days - and i'll see you all next week after a recharge of the blogging batteries.

A very Merry Christmas to you all!

  6. Merry Christmas!!

I know what you mean by the "true" meaning of Christmas nowadays - at a Christmas party last year where we all had to wear Christmas jumpers I went with one with a dollar sign on it. But there are still good parts about Christmas and the change starts with yourself and then try to spread it to others too. Each year I try to make my gifts handmade (this time I am going to plant lots of baby aloe vera - that my big aloe vera made - and give each pot to one of my friends). We are also having a Secret Santa where handmade gifts are encouraged.

Hope you'll find a little spirit and joy! Merry Christmas!

  7. I hope you and Joe had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! I was in the Christmas spirit for about four days and then it just died. I then drowned my lack of festive spirit sorrows in crackers and cheese.

Christmas is a funny thing... I didn't really notice how strange it was in the blogging world until this year. People be crazy for the wish lists and I am so happy that's all done with now!
